Moonstone – unique light play and enchanting glow

Moonstone is a fascinating gemstone that has been used in jewellery for centuries. It gained particular popularity during the Art Nouveau period, where it was used by renowned goldsmiths such as René Lalique and Georg Jensen, both deeply captivated by its unique light play. Moonstone is the most valuable variety within the feldspar group and is relatively soft, with a hardness of just 6 on the Mohs scale.
