OxiEx JE709 from Jentner is a professional anti-oxidation agent developed to effectively remove sulfide and oxide layers from silver as well as low-alloy gold alloys. The product is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, making it easy to integrate into daily workshop production.

The agent can be used for both decorative and technical applications and is suitable for everything from pre-treatment before polishing to thorough cleaning of oxidised items.

OxiEx can be used either as an immersion bath or applied with a brush, providing high flexibility for different workflows and workpiece sizes. The recommended exposure time of 1–30 minutes allows you to adapt the process to the degree of oxidation. The product performs best at a bath temperature of 20–30 °C and may be used in tanks made of PP, PPH, glass, or stainless steel.

For the best results, workpieces must be completely free from grease before treatment. It is therefore recommended to degrease them in an ultrasonic cleaner first, rinse thoroughly, and then proceed with treatment in the OxiEx bath or by brushing. Drying can be completed in an ultrasonic cleaning unit if desired.

OxiEx JE709 contains acid and must be stored safely in tightly closed, clearly labelled containers—away from foodstuffs, cyanides, and cyanide-containing solutions. Before disposal, the solution must undergo proper wastewater treatment in accordance with local regulations.
