This side cutter is designed for professional goldsmiths and workshops working with detailed and demanding tasks. This new model in the WA series combines a compact 100 mm format with a finely ground, tapered cutting edge, allowing for precise cutting even on small and delicate components.

Side cutters and end cutters without tapered shear produce an almost perfectly flush cut on one side of the material. This means that the cutting edges are more susceptible to damage if their capacity is exceeded.

The specified limits on the handles apply exclusively to soft copper wire. Most metal alloys used in jewellery making are significantly harder than soft copper. If marks or nicks appear on the cutting edges, this is typically a sign that the material was harder than what the pliers are designed for.
