This ceramic crucible is suitable for melting precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum.

Unlike more traditional crucibles, this model has particularly thin walls, allowing it to heat up quickly as the ceramic absorbs less heat during melting. This reduces gas consumption and contributes to an efficient melting process.

The material contains no additives that could contaminate the molten metal, making the crucible suitable for professional goldsmithing, where metal purity is essential.

As the crucible cools quickly when it contains molten metal, it is important to maintain heating from the start of the melting process until the metal is poured into a preheated casting mould.
